Brew Review – Right on Red from Orlando Brewing

I’m honestly surprised Orlando doesn’t have a ton of breweries. There’s plenty of great beer bars, and a ton of locals, but the only major brewery I am knowledgeable of is the aptly-named Orlando Brewing.

I’m going to save a bigger blog post for when I get to visit their brewery. I do know two things that set this brewery apart: 1-They brew exclusively organic beers, and 2-They brew according to the Reinheitsgebot, the almost 100-year old German purity law.

They’re bottling now, and I was able to grab a bottle of their Right on Red! red ale.

It’s fantastic. Sweet with pronounced caramel notes, with a light hoppy kick at the the end. The other major beer they bottle that I can procure is their I-4 IPA. I will have to let you know how that is soon.

Drink Florida Craft,

  1. They have been bottling for many years now…but this beer is not brewed at Orlando Brewing, it was contract brewed in Cape Canaveral at Florida Beer Company. The beer is also not labeled as Organic because FBC is not a certified Organic brewery.
