Sooo… If you still don’t have anything planned for this Saturday and/or Sunday, and you’re interested in taking a little drive out the Homestead, You might be interested in what’s going down at Schnebly Redlands Winery, otherwise known as the home of Miami Brewing Company.
They are having a 4-course beer pairing dinner on Saturday, June 20th, and a follow up 3-course beer pairing Father’s Day lunch on Sunday, June 21st. Both meals feature brand new beers from Miami Brewing paired up with dishes from their new RedLander Restaurant such as Tamarind BBQ Sirloin, Pretzel Rock Shrimp, and Mango Chocolate Upside Down Cake. Beers from the event will include:
- Beachee Lychee Wheat
- Hickory Smoked Habanero Wheat (Dinner only)
- Bacon Brown Sugar Red Ale
- Little Havana Cafe Con Leche Milk Stout
Plus a little birdie let me know that some visitors to the dinner may have the chance to sample their pumpkin ale that has been aging in Jack Daniels barrels.
Also, for an extra $30, dads (and other people, I would assume) can get a Miami Brewing growler and work shirt. Pretty cool stuff, and if you want to register for either of these, you can do so right here.
As a soon-to-be dad, this looks like a pretty good deal. Hint hint…
