Here is your Florida Beer News for 4-8-16.
Canopy Roads is coming to Tallahassee!
This group of North Florida brewers has been brewing for a collective 25 years, and has now signed a lease for a 5500 sq. ft. brewing facility and tap room at Centre of Tallahassee.
Canopy Roads will be brewing an extensive list on a 2.5 BBL system, eventually growing to a 15 BBL system in the future. Brewers Ben Ralys, George Henning, and Business Manager Phil Homann have an extensive and impressive list of beers planned for the brewery, including the Back Porch line of Cream Ales, a Goat series of coffee beers, and a slew of seasonal and special releases.
I hope to have interviews with them soon. In the meantime, check their website (still under construction) and Florida Beer blog for more!
