Here’s some big happenings this weekend:
Delray Beach’s 5th annual Craft Beer Fest is tonight at Old School Square in downtown Delray Beach! Over 100 beers from around the country will be featured.
The signature beer for the event, brewed by presenting sponsor Saltwater Brewery, is 1-800-CALL-LEE Sip and Fall Ale!
Doors open at 6:30 PM for VIP ticket holders, and 7:30 PM for all others. Unlimited beer samples will be provided, plus wines and pub bites are available for purchase.
This Sunday is the 1st annual Craftathon at Boardroom Beach in Ft. Walton Beach. Over 30 local breweries from Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, and more!
The Craftathon will also have all of the best home brewers sampling on site, hand selected food from our local area, beer educational lectures, and much more. Plus, proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
VIP Entry is at 11 AM, and doors open to everyone at noon.
Finally, on May 20th, the Wynwood Arts District and the South Florida Lindy Collective will plunge the Toe Jam Backlot into the past with Swyngwood! THis festival will feature hot rods, swing and rockabilly music and dancing, burlesque shows, and vintage fashions.
What’s even better, though, is that Infected Brewery in Miami is producing a signature beer for them, Swyngwood Ale! This will be a pale ale with orange and ginger, and quantities will be limited!
