Seven esteemed breweries and Wekiva Island will team up Saturday for a day of pint-drinking and canvas-painting on the Wekiva River.
Wekiva Island, Central Florida’s favorite watering hole, will host its first Arts & Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, Nov 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. Seven breweries will pour craft brews while encouraging attendees to get crafty themselves. For $15, guests can sample beer from such national names and hometown favorites as: Intuition Ale Works, Abita Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada, Terrapin Beer Co., Cigar City Brewing, Brew Hub and Red Cypress Brewery.
Guests will have the opportunity to paint on canvases with each breweries logo throughout the event, and those who sampled all seven breweries are entered to win the vinyl painted logos and other prizes. The festival will feature live music from Dane Colbert.
