Some might say that the Tampa Bay area is experiencing somewhat of a renaissance when it comes to craft beer brewing. The first brewery in the city was opened in 1896 in the Ybor City neighborhood, and it’s only grown since then…but especially recently. We’re here with some top choices for you to consider for your tour!

Even if you aren’t necessarily a fan of stouts, you have to try the crowd pleasing option of the German Chocolate Cupcake Stout. It’s almost as if you’re drinking dessert! If that sounds too unique for your taste buds, you can’t go wrong with the Two Pump Chump either. This is quite a small brewery but the steampunk vibe and interesting art work makes it feel very comfortable.
1631 N Franklin St
Tampa, FL 33602
Hidden Springs Ale Works is a dog friendly destination with an impressive listing from sours, scotch ales, IPA’s, and lighter beers. Unfortunately this is a no frills atmosphere with no food, but we think their attention on their craft really shines through with each sip. There are cider options for those who might now want to drink beer, as well as a popular option called the Ginger Mullet.
4465 W Gandy Blvd
Tampa, FL 33611
There are a ton of games to keep the group occupied here such as ping pong, classic board games, darts, and corn hole. It’s not uncommon to come across live music here as well. They project all of the big games along the wall here, so this is a must visit for sports lovers. You can bring your own food here, and there are local trucks that visit as well.
Safe transportation is just as important as your itinerary when you’re planning a brewery tour in Tampa with friends. Of course, anyone can open up their phone and order an Uber or Lyft, but that’s almost more trouble than it’s worth when a group is trying to hop from one destination to the next. With a Tampa Bay Limo, not only will you have room to socialize as you’re on the road, but you will also have a multiple features that increase the amount of fun that you’re going to have with friends such as audio systems with streaming options for your music.
